As a photographer based in Honolulu, I know the island’s best family-friendly beach locations — whether you're looking for dramatic ocean views, gentle tidepools for the kids, or wide open sands perfect for large groups. I also help with posing direction to ensure you get flattering, connected group portraits, along with plenty of natural moments full of movement and emotion.

FAMILY PHOTO STEPS
Family photo sessions can take place almost anywhere on OÊ»ahu — from the iconic Waikiki beaches to more secluded, lesser-known coastal spots. I’ll gladly recommend a selection of locations tailored to your family’s preferences, whether you're looking for convenience, scenic beauty, or privacy.

The ideal time for family beach photography is during the early morning or late afternoon, when the light is soft, warm, and most flattering. That said, mid-day sessions are also available and can still produce beautiful results with the right location and approach.

I often recommend choosing less crowded locations for family photos. Open, quiet spaces give us more freedom to get creative with poses, movement, and composition. When the beach is busy or packed with people, it can limit our options and make it harder to capture those relaxed, natural moments you’re looking for. WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE PHOTOSHOOT
After the shooting, I will edit your photos as soon as possible! Usually within a week! Including color correction, background repair, cropping and noise reduction, etc. I will send you your full resolution edited photos within a week!
I usually use Google Drive to share photos! It's easy, just right click on the file name and click Download to download the uncompressed image to your computer or phone!
